Update on Review 2023: We have been going here for years and it is always a good spot for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is wonderful! We went yesterday and the Enchiladas Verdes was a bit on the spicy side this time and the taste was great! We still get the same things as they are just so good. We have had numerous people go with us who try different things and everyone has always liked the food. Highly Recommend! Good food and service, don't bother with Hacienda if you are looking for real Mexican food. Mexican Tacos, Nachos, and Enchiladas Verdes are among the favorites. Everything we have tried has been great...hot salsa on request!

We were originally headed to a nearby Mexican chain restaurant, but as soon as we walked in, the stale smell and understaffed atmosphere reminded us why we usually skip it. So we changed plans and stopped by La Esperanza for the first time — and what a difference. Right when we walked through the door, the place smelled clean and inviting. The decor is charming, with lots of plants and thoughtful touches that give it a warm, authentic feel. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive the entire time. The food exceeded our expectations. I ordered the steak tacos and a hibiscus margarita, and both were fantastic. Generous portions, great prices, and tons of flavor. They even have an extensive kids’ menu, which is perfect for families. La Esperanza is truly a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

My Husband and I both really enjoyed our meal here! After traveling all day it was nice to sit down and enjoy a meal in this very cute restaurant. I love the way it is decorated! The prices aren't bad and the staff is very nice and helpful! I believe it was also the owner we spoke with and she was such a nice lady and seems to genuinely care about people!

It was fine, definitely not the best experience I've had. The "queso" was yellow nacho cheese, so that was disappointing. The steak torta is really good, as are the Tacos. Not bad, but not great. Will be back for the solid chips and salsa and steak torta. 7/10

The light burrito as well as the beef enchilada were delicious. Watch the salsa--it tends to be spicy.
